Foot Exfoliation at Home In 3 Simple Steps

Foot exfoliation is very important to restore skin freshness by removing dead skin cells. Foot exfoliation not only removes dead skin but also increases the blood circulation, stimulates the lymph flow and helps to reduce calluses. For foot exfoliation you don't need to spend a lot of money at any beauty salon because you can exfoliate your feet at your home just by following some simple Steps which are given below:

Step -1  (Foot Washing & Soaking)

First of all wash your feet with soap and lukewarm water and gently rub your feet with your scrub brush or pumice stone.
Now you need to soak your feet. For foot soaking, take a small bucket or tub and fill with warm water(not too much warm). Add 1/2 cup of sea salt or epsom salts and 1 lemon juice. You can also add some rose petals for extra fragrance. Now Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes. Soaking in warm water will soften dry or calloused skin.

Step - 2 (Scrubbing)

Make a natural scrub by mixing 1/2 cup sea salt, 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 1 lemon juice. Now apply this scrub to feet and massage with pumice stone in a circular motion. While massaging pay extra attention to your heels but don't be too harsh. When salt starts to dissolve rinse your feet with lukewarm water and pat dry with soft towel.

Step - 3 (Moisturization)

Your final step is moisturizing your feet with your favourite or natural moisturizer. If you don't have a good moisturizer at home you can simply apply Olive oil to your feet. Olive oil is a natural moisturizer and has been used for centuries to soften and hydrate skin. Olive oil also helps soften cuticles around the toes. Let it absorb in your skin for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with water to remove the excess oil. Now Pat dry your skin to avoid slipping.
